ABOUT
Dr Sneha Krishna is an Australian-trained Endocrinologist with many years of clinical experience across Queensland and the Northern Territory. She achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Endocrinology) in 2024, following comprehensive training at Gold Coast University Hospital, Mater Hospital Brisbane, and the Royal Darwin Hospital. She also holds a Masters of Public Health and was awarded the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence in 2022.
Dr Krishna is on track to obtain the SOMANZ Obstetric Medicine Certificate in early 2026, having undertaken specialised training at the Mater Mothers Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. Obstetric Medicine focuses on the care of women before, during, and after pregnancy who have pre-existing medical conditions or develop medical complications during pregnancy. She works closely with Obstetricians and Maternal-Fetal-Medicine specialists to provide coordinated care.
Dr Krishna has presented original research at more than a dozen national and international endocrinology conferences and has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. She is also a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University School of Medicine, and has been involved in teaching and mentorship of medical students for several years.
Drawing on her clinical, research, and academic experience, Dr Krishna is proud to serve the Gold Coast community, providing compassionate, evidence-based care in endocrinology, and soon, in obstetric medicine. She has called the Gold Coast home since 2012.

FOR PATIENTS
Dr Krishna requires a referral from your GP or referring doctor before an appointment can be arranged. Referrals from GPs are valid for 12 months, and referrals from other specialists are valid for 3 months. These referrals are required so that you can claim a rebate from Medicare. Referrals are preferred via Medical Objects.
Please bring all relevant blood tests, imaging reports, and an updated list (or photos) of your medications. If you are unsure whether it is relevant, feel free to bring it along - Dr Krishna will review all reports and decide what is needed.
If your symptoms or condition changes while you are waiting for your appointment, please visit your referring doctor or GP for review.
